Under Canadian law, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent needs your explicit consent to send to you, at its discretion and on an ongoing basis (by e-mail or electronic text) group-based news or marketing communiques such as media event invitations and other advisories, information releases, emergency bulletins and roads notices, that might be accompanied by photographs, videos or other media formats.

The CK Municipal Media Subscription Service media lists are used by all municipal departments and associated agencies for the group dissemination of information to journalistic media. To receive such messages through this service, a journalist must proactively subscribe using this online application form. Once the municipality has verified your information, your subscription service will commence according to which of two media lists you have entered. If you do not subscribe, you will not receive these messages. You can also choose to unsubscribe from this service at any time.
