Chatham-Kent is Home to Many EcoTourism Experiences

Rondeau
Ecotourism' (also known as ecological tourism) is responsible travel to fragile, pristine, and usually protected areas.

One of the goals of ecotourism is to offer tourists insight into the impact of human beings on the environment, and to foster a greater appreciation of our natural habitats.

Coastal dunes, marsh, swamp, Carolinian forest and Oak Savannah are all found within Rondeau Provincial Park. This spectacular surroundings has four seasons of recreational activity at Ontario’s second oldest Provincial Park.

At Rondeau and other sites throughout Chatham-Kent you will find the environment cared for so that resources will be left for future generations.
