Small Business Centre advisors can provide:

• Complimentary one-on-one consultations to discuss your business and any specific issues or assistance you may require. Appointments are recommended.
• Guidance on licenses, permits, registration, regulations and other forms and documents required to start and build a business.
• Advice and support on preparing a business plan, to help you through any roadblocks in the process or as a review before talking to lenders or investors.
• Direction on marketing, promotion, obtaining financing, preparing a cash flow, and government programs and services that may be available.
• Research and support is also available for finding suppliers for the equipment and inventory you need.
Consultations typically last for one hour and appointments can be made by phone or e-mail. Our business consultations are meant solely as a form of advice and direction, with the concept of self-help present throughout all discussions. The CKSBC encourages you to seek professional advice on legal, tax and accounting matters where necessary.
Consultations take place in various locations across our community. To learn more, please visit our Outreach Services page.
