It is tough to be new in a community. If you need to talk, get in touch with a settlement counsellor, your guidance counsellor, religious leader, a parent or call an emergency crisis line.

Finding a summer or after school job can be tough. You should develop a strategy to find a job. You are Here! Now What..., youth.gc.ca and ontarioimmigration.ca will help you.

You will need to create a resume and cover letter to apply for a job. You should also prepare for your interviews.
If you want to own a business visit the Summer Company Program. You can call the Chatham-Kent Small Business Centre to help you start a business.
