Childcare Subsidies and Tax Credits

You can put your child into fulltime (Monday through Friday), half-day, or part-time childcare.

The fees for childcare will change by the amount of time your child stays in a daycare. This can become costly.

You can obtain childcare subsidies and income tax credits to cover these costs, if you are low and middle-income family. The age of your child will affect the dollar value of your tax credits and childcare subsidies.

Some income tax credits are earned by applying for the Child Care Tax Benefit.
