In Chatham, TJ Stables offers the Acceptional Riders Special Abilities Horsemanship Program for physically and developmentally challenged individuals.

The following services will help you and your family move into our community:
• The Employment Resource Centres has the Ontario Disability Support Program - Employment Supports.
• Community Living of Chatham-Kent and Wallaceburg have many services and supports for people with disabilities. You may want to grab lunch at the Parkfield Restaurant that is run by Community of Living's program clients and staff.
• If you want employment help and on Ontario Disability Support Program contact Insights Enterprises (519.355.1222).
• The Christian Horizons provide services and adult group homes.
• Settlement.Org helps people with disabilities and information on financial assistance.
• The Learning Disabilities Association of Chatham-Kent helps children, youth and adults with learning disabilities.
• Children's Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent works with physical, developmental, or communication problem in children and young adults. The audiology (hearing) services are for people of all ages in our community. The services are all free.
• The Brain Injury Association of Chatham-Kent helps survivors of acquired brain injury (ABI) and their family members.
• Family Service Kent has the Advocacy and Protective Service Worker (APSW) Program that supports and helps adults with an intellectual disability.
