Dealing with Stress

It is okay to feel occasional stress. For more information on how to deal with the stress of change, visit Settlement.Org or Public Health.

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health has a multilingual fact sheet on where to get help if you dealing with stress.

The Canadian Mental Health Association has an online stress test. They have information to learn how to handle, overcome, and prevent stress.

Remember to always reach out to a friend or loved one or call an agencies that offer newcomer assistance. Follow the link for a community list of counsellors.
