Our community offers many resources to help you maintain healthy eating habits.

Chatham-Kent grows an array of fresh produce and residents enjoy a wide variety of in-season fruits and vegetables.

Chatham-Kent's Public Health Unit provides information on the EatRight Ontario contact centre, where you can speak to a Registered Dietician.

Visit the seasonal produce chart on the buy local buy fresh website, to find out what produce Chatham-Kent has in season. Or, call United Way of Chatham-Kent to learn more about its community gardens program.

You can visit the Government of Canada’s Healthy Canadians website to learn more on nutrition.

You can use the Canada’s Food Guide to keep good eating habits. It is now available in 10 different languages.
