Trades & Apprenticeships

Our community welcomes all internationally skilled tradespersons. We encourage our youth to consider an apprenticeship in a trade.

Our local Ministry of Training, Colleges and University Client Service Branch is located on 870 Richmond Street. You can go to them for services to start or continue a career in a trade.

There are many pathways to an apprenticeship. St. Clair College, the James A. Burgess Campus of St. Clair College, and Ridgetown College of University of Guelph each have apprenticeship programs.
