Moving is a very stressful time. When moving it is best to ask yourself questions like: What needs to be done before I move? Who needs to know about my new address? How do I find a mover? This page will help you move to our community.
Changing Your Contact Information and Forwarding Your Mail
Visit your local Post Office at least two weeks before your move to fill out a Change of Address Notification Form. For a fee, Canada Post will forward your addressed mail to your new home, within Canada, for six months.
Or, visit Canada Post’s website to request a free change-of-address kit which includes the Change of Address Forms.
You fill out the change of address forms yourself and mail to your contacts.

• Utilities: Cable company, Hydro company, Gas company
• Credit card companies and/or Banks
• Doctors, Schools, Dentists, Opticians/Optometrists

Changing Your Address on Government Information
The Integrated Address Change online tool allows you to electronically change your address with the following ministries:
• Ministry of Transportation (for Driver’s License or Vehicle Permits)
• Ministry of Natural Resources (Outdoors Cards)
• Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care (Health Cards).
To change your address on different provincial documentation, visit the Government of Ontario’s website.
You can also use the web to change the address on your:
• Income Tax Return
• Citizenship and Permanent Resident Card
• Canada Pension Plan and Old Age Security
