Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program
OYAP is a high school youth-focused apprenticeship program that provides senior students with the opportunity to become apprentices as part of their high school education.
OYAP students can collect hours toward a skilled trade, develop skilled trade competencies and earn co-op credits.

Who should consider OYAP?
Students who:
• want to begin a career while still in high school
• enjoy learning by doing
• would like the potential to earn while they learn
Who is eligible for OYAP?
Students who:
• are to least 16 years of age
• either in grade 11 or 12
• have an interest in a skilled trade
• are willing to make a commitment to a career
